Allied Universal® is hiring a Physical Security Systems and Technologies Coordinator. The Physical Security Systems and Technologies Coordinator will manage, control, support, and provide technical and managerial oversight for systems projects supporting the Global Security department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to system health monitoring, administrative programming, deploying system upgrades, new installations, integrations, data management, system functionality, compliance with department policies, and creating training programs for users within the department. The position is a blend of Physical Security Software administration and oversight of Physical Security System installation. Ideal candidate will have worked in a Physical Security Global Command Center, understand Access Control System design, be intimately familiar with CCTV technologies, mass notification software as well as other physical security technologies. While this position has a component of IT related tasks it is more of a project manager with advanced understanding of physical security softwares.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage badging process for a high profile customer; coordinate daily work assignments of security badging personnel; manage selection and placement of direct reports, design and implement career development and performance improvement plansDay-to-day administration of physical security systems and related technologies (access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, key control, emergency communications, GPS/asset tracking, incident reporting, etc.)Ensure security systems align with company policies, procedures, licensing agreements, configuration guidelines, and standard methodologies for maintaining regulatory complianceAdminister security systems and related technologies in accordance with established companies and Corporate Security policies and proceduresProgram, test, and commission security systems and/or devices newly installed or reconfiguredCoordinate tasks related to the issuance, activation, retrieval, and de-activation of company identification badges and mechanical keysExecute on general set-up and administration activities for various security web or application-based technologiesCoordinate and support preventative maintenance activities to ensure proper operations of security systems, devices, applications, databases, software upgrades, door hardware, etc.Collaborate with approved 3rd party service providers and internal functions (IT, Facilities, etc.) to troubleshoot, restore and/or repair failed security systems and/or devicesAssist with the development and revision of security systems and door hardware specifications and operating proceduresAdminister site(s) vehicle registration and parking permit programEnsure security systems drawings are maintained and updated as requiredParticipate in the development and implementation of asset life cycle and management plansLead tasks associated with reduction and management of security systems alarmsLead security system projects and upgradesCompile, prepare, and analyze security system statistical reports and make recommendations as appropriateProvide general operational support (e.g., incident response, event support, procedural development, training, information destruction, emergency management, etc.)Coordinate service delivery activities with security suppliersEstablish and maintain close working relationships with an internal client baseInventory, track, and order security devices and related supplies per established proceduresEnsure security records are retained by the company document retention policy and file retention scheduleComplete security systems related to data tracking, trending, analysis, and reportingQUALIFICATIONS:
Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of studyType and Length of Specific Experience Required:
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive industry and/or public sector experience in installation, service, and administration of security systemsKnowledge and Skills Required:
Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to read and comprehend regulations, correspondence, and provider’s instructions, rules and regulationsAbility to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issuesProven project management skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Specific experience with integrated security systems like Software House/cCure, Everbridge, Victor Client, Alertus, etc.BENEFITS:
