General Summary:

Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path.

Education:                 

Bachelor and Master degrees; Master is preferred

               

Experience:    

Handled physical design tasks from Verilog netlist to GDS.Handled Chip/Block floorplan, PD implementation, include placement, CTS,PCTS,routing,timing analysis,SI analysis and IR-drop analysis.Timing fix and signoff with timing check tool Primetime.Finish DRC/ERC/PERC/LVS checks.Handled synthesis/DFT logic insertion and ATPG pattern generation.

Requirements:

Be familiar to physical design flow, from RTL to GDSMaster mainstream EDA PR(Innovus,FC…) , Timing closure tool(PTSI,Tweaker) and  PV tools (Calibre) from SNPS, CDNS or MENTORBe able to solve either timing or routing problemsBe Familiar to do RC extraction Have basic knowledge on SI conceptual scope, as is preferredHave ability to do library and design data sanity check, as is preferredBe interested in synthesis, DFT, digital back-end designHave experience in SCAN insertion.  Have knowledge on Mentor's TK toolsHave experience in MBIST insertion

Description  of Function &  Responsibility :

Duties include STA , floorplan exploration, implementation, metal spin and physical verification.Nice to have Synthesis/DFT skill   

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
