Phys-Psychiatry

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team.This position is primarily outpatient at this time.

Position Highlights:

Primary outpatient psychiatry Assist in coverage of inpatient services as neededExpected schedule: M-FRequired to supervise mid-levels (APPs)Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for consults via telehealth and/or in-person across the Piedmont systemOpen to supervision of medical studentsCall (if needed) for outpatient clinic Epic EMR

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board-certified or board-eligible in PsychiatryActive or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia Experience supervising APPs is preferred Strong clinical and leadership skills Provide evaluation and management of psychiatric patientsPrevious experience with ketamine and TMS preferredExperience treating both adults and adolescents preferred
