Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Metallurgist at our Phoenix operation. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, maintenance, ore control, metallurgical/assay labs, and outside departments to ensure environmental compliance and safe functionality of plant operations.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with production and maintenance supervision along with other outside departments to ensure environmental compliance and safe functionality of the plant operation and maintaining of equipment.Work on projects through all aspects of experimental design, engineering, forecasting, funding, construction, and commissioningContinue to develop automation of data collectionProvide technical assistance and analysis to process group stakeholdersBe familiar with strategic business planning and propose process improvements to maximize cash flowCreate and maintain leaching plans, solution management plansAnalyze metallurgical test work and update recovery curvesWork with computers and associated programs like Excel, PowerPoint, Jigsaw, Pi, GoldSimPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent Process-related degree requiredMinimum 5 years experience in metallurgical or chemical engineering role requiredExperience in heap leach process, milling process and process control systems preferredKnowledge of the principles and methods used in metallurgical and processing analysis, have some practical application, and process optimization experience requiredAbility to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status requiredExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills requiredProven safety record and ability to support work group in achievements of safety, environmental, and production goals requiredAbility to perform the essential functions of this position requiredPrevious supervisory or leadership experience preferredWhat We Can Offer You
