Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager or Team Leader, you will perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on adult and pediatric patients, process specimens, and support laboratory operations using the Epic computer system.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood collection procedures with professionalism and care
Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labeling
Process and deliver specimens promptly and according to protocol
Maintain inventory and prepare collection areas
Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification with externship preferred
ASCP certification is a plus
Strong communication and computer skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage high patient volumes
