Job Title: Phlebotomist - Savannah (Immediate Hirring)

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a renowned diagnostic laboratory, where you will perform crucial tasks in blood collection and specimen preparation while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.Process billing information and collect payments when required.Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.Travel to additional sites when needed.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of experience in phlebotomy.Proficiency in venipuncture and blood draw techniques.Exceptional customer service skills.Experience with geriatric and pediatric patients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Work Environment

The position is based at Memorial Health - Women's Care, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The role is located at an IOP site, where you will work independently, primarily with high-risk OB patients. A candidate should have at least 1 to 2 years of experience due to the independent nature of the position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.50/hr.
