Job Title: Phlebotomist (Part-time) - Rutherford/Hackensack
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist with pediatric experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling heel sticks, finger sticks, and routine blood draws for patients ranging from newborns to 18 years old.

ResponsibilitiesPerform heel sticks, finger sticks, and standard blood draws for pediatric patients.Handle newborn to adolescent patients with care and precision.Process blood samples efficiently and accurately using centrifuge and aliquoting techniques.Ensure proper specimen tube usage and sample preparation.Essential SkillsProven experience in pediatric phlebotomy.Ability to perform heel and finger sticks with expertise.Skilled in processing blood samples including centrifuge and aliquoting.Knowledge of various specimen tubes and sample preparation methods.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with pediatric patients is a must.Familiarity with different specimen tube types.Competency in sample preparation and aliquoting for blood samples.Work Environment

This part-time position is located at 17 Sylvan St Suite 201, Rutherford, NJ and 77 Summit Ave, Hackensack, NJ. The work schedule is Monday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Tuesday & Thursday from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, totaling 20 hours per week. The role offers the chance to work in a professional laboratory setting while gaining valuable experience in a physician's office environment. Dress code is professional attire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
