Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist with 1-2 years of experience to join our internal medicine office. The ideal candidate will work primarily with adult patients in a high-profile environment, requiring excellent bedside manner and proficiency in using straight needles.
ResponsibilitiesPerform phlebotomy procedures, predominantly using straight needles.Handle a high volume of over 100 patients per day.Process blood samples post-collection, including centrifuge operations.Maintain flexibility with weekly changing shifts, with schedules provided on Fridays.Adapt to potential day-of shift changes in emergency situations.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience as a phlebotomist.Experience working in an internal medicine office.Ability to handle blood draws using straight needles.Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills.Experience with centrifuge processing.Additional Skills & QualificationsPhlebotomy certification.Experience in laboratory settings.Knowledge in pediatric and medical processes.Familiarity with butterfly needle techniques.Work Environment
The work schedule includes shifts on Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic environment with a flexible dress code, adapting to changing schedules and high patient volumes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livingston, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
