Position Details:

Full-Time – Early Day Shift Hours: Mon -Fri (4am-12:30pm) with a weekend rotation just once every 3 weeks (Enjoy time off during the week to balance your personal life)Paid On-Call: You’ll be compensated for 4 weekends a year, even if you’re not called in, with premium pay if you areBenefits Eligible Phlebotomy Position Inpatient phlebotomy lab collections:  Collecting blood samples from patients currently admitted to the hospitalEarn More: Additional shift differential pay given when working required once per weekend shifts and 1 holiday per year Extra Holiday Pay: Earn top dollar when you work on your two designated holidays each yearPatient Care Interaction

 Experience:

Role Purpose

Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.

 

Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
