Schedule: Full-time (7am to 3:30pm) / Monday through Friday

Experience Level: Entry Level

Training: 1 week of orientation provided

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection while ensuring patient comfort and maintaining specimen integrity. You’ll also assist with workflow improvements, troubleshooting, and training as needed.

Key Responsibilities:Perform venipuncture and specimen collection (blood, urine, fecal) with professionalism and careLabel, centrifuge, split, freeze, and store specimens per test requirementsAccurately match lab requisitions with specimen tubes and verify test ordersMaintain and update patient records and specimen logsPackage and prepare specimens for transport, ensuring proper temperature and handlingComply with OSHA, DEP, and internal safety protocolsAnswer phone inquiries and relay lab results as neededParticipate in annual training and ongoing educationQualifications:Certification: Valid Phlebotomy Certification (as required by state)Experience: 0-1 years of hands-on venipuncture experience in a fast-paced labEducation: High School Diploma or GEDTechnical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Skills:Blood draw and specimen collectionExperience with pediatric and geriatric patientsStrong communication and patient interaction skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAdditional Information:Daily Draw Volume: 20–40 patientsPatient Demographics: Newborns to elderlyWork Environment: Collaborative team setting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
