Phlebotomist

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist II to join our team in Woodstock. The successful candidate will perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups. This role involves collecting specimens for various tests such as drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, along with accurate data entry of patient information. You will be responsible for preparing collected specimens for testing and maintaining patient and specimen information logs while delivering superior customer service.

ResponsibilitiesPerform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques.Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.Accurately enter patient information in a timely manner.Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.Essential Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of experience as a phlebotomist -venipuncture in outpatient or hospital settings.Exceptional customer service skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Comfortable working under minimal supervision.Flexibility to work overtime as needed.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
