Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team in Elberton. The ideal candidate will excel in performing blood collections through venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups. You will be responsible for collecting specimens for various tests, including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests, and ensuring all patient data is accurately entered.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and more.Accurately enter patient information in a timely manner.Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Essential Skills

Phlebotomy expertise with at least 2 years of recent experience.Experience with blood draw and straight needle venipuncture.Proficiency in data entry and sample processing.Ability to perform venipuncture and blood collection effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.Detail-oriented with strong computer skills.Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently or in a team environment.Comfortable working under minimal supervision.Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Elberton, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
