Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to join our team at a medical office setting in Goodyear, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing. This role includes the collection and receipt of biological specimens, proper entry into the computer system, preparation for analytical testing, and distribution to the correct analytical area. The position involves pre and post-analytical testing duties, including specified analytical testing tasks.

Responsibilities

Draw blood and process specimens in a medical office setting.Collect and receive biological specimens, ensuring accurate entry into the system.Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.Adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

Essential Skills

1 or more years of prior phlebotomy experience (excluding donor, plasma, and MA phlebotomy).Proficiency in blood draw and specimen processing.Bilingual in English and Spanish.Comfortable working independently.GED or High School Diploma required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in laboratory and patient care environments.Understanding of specimen collection and processing.

Work Environment

The position is based in a doctor's office at 13555 W McDowell Rd Suite 103, Goodyear, AZ, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work closely with medical assistants and have opportunities for career advancement, such as becoming a Phlebotomy Technician 2 after six months with a potential pay increase. The company values internal promotion for leadership roles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, Arizona.

Pat Rate: $19-23/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
