Job Title: Phlebotomist - Glendale

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to join our team in a physician's office setting. The role involves drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing while ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols. You will be responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, their entry into our computer system, and the preparation and distribution of samples for analytical testing.

Responsibilities

Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing.Collect, receive, and log biological specimens into the department.Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience (donor, plasma, and MA phlebotomy do not qualify).Proficiency in blood draw, specimen collection, and laboratory processes.Ability to work independently.High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Development (GED) certificate.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in patient care and specimen processing.Comfortable working closely with medical assistants.Previous employees may be considered for rehire if they left over 6 months ago and on good terms.

Work Environment

The role is based in a doctor's office setting. The working hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. The position involves working closely with physicians and medical assistants to provide excellent patient care. The company offers growth opportunities and a career ladder, with potential for promotion to Phlebotomy Technician 2 after six months, including a pay increase.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
