Job Title: Phlebotomist Float - Monmouth County Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in a float position across various locations in Monmouth County. This role requires a reliable vehicle as you will be traveling between different healthcare offices, including primary care, OBGYN, pediatric, and hematology. You will be the primary person responsible for all blood draws at each location. Responsibilities + Conduct blood draws independently in various healthcare offices. + See and interact with 15-30 patients daily. + Enter patient requisitions into the computer system. + Process specimens using a centrifuge. + Adapt to weekly changing schedules and possible day-of schedule changes. Essential Skills + At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. + Proficiency in straight needle and butterfly techniques. + Phlebotomy certification. + Strong customer service skills. + Experience with laboratory processing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in pediatric phlebotomy. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and locations. Work Environment This position requires working Monday to Friday between 7 AM and 8:15 PM, with alternating Saturdays. The work environment involves traveling between various medical offices, so a reliable vehicle is essential. The attire is typically professional medical wear appropriate for a clinical setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monmouth County, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
