LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Little Rock, AR (72205)

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm; Friday 8am - 12pm (additional hours/ rotating weekends may be requested as needed)

Job Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation required

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program from an accredited agency or 3 months’ experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environmentPrevious experience assisting all patient age groups (Pediatric - Geriatric) patient experience

Able to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to work in a fast paced / high volume work environmentExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervision
