Job Description
We are seeking skilled phlebotomists to work in a patient service center setting. The role involves drawing patients' blood, performing specimen processing, and ensuring the accurate entry of specimens into the computer system. The position encompasses both pre and post aspects of analytical testing and may include specified analytical tests as assigned. Adherence to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing.
+ Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
+ Accurately enter specimen information into the computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in blood draw techniques and specimen collection.
+ Experience in laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.
+ Familiarity with specimen processing and patient care.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ GED or High School Diploma required.
Work Environment
You will work in a patient service center. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 6 am to 3 pm. You will be part of a team that includes at least two other phlebotomists. The organization offers opportunities for growth, with a career ladder available after six months to advance to Phlebotomy Technician 2, which includes a pay increase. The company values internal promotion for leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
