Job Description
We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our team and provide exceptional care in a doctor's office setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for drawing patients' blood, processing specimens, and ensuring the proper handling and distribution of biological samples for analytical testing. This role is crucial in supporting the pre and post aspects of analytical testing, following the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
Collect and receive biological specimens for the department.Accurately enter specimen details into the computer system.Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.Adhere to the Code of Conduct and departmental guidelines.Essential Skills
At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience (donor and plasma does not qualify).Proficiency in blood draw and specimen processing.Comfortable working independently.High School Diploma (HSD) or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in patient care and laboratory settings.Familiarity with specimen collection and processing.Work Environment
The position is based in Mesa, Gilbert or Chandler AZ, with working hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves working inside a doctor's office, drawing blood from patients, and collaborating closely with medical assistants (MAs). Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
