We are seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to join our team in a patient service center setting. The role involves drawing patients' blood, performing specimen processing, and ensuring accurate entry of biological specimens into our computer system. You will be responsible for the preparation of samples for analytical testing and their distribution to the appropriate areas. Additionally, you will conduct specified analytical testing as assigned while adhering to the Code of Conduct guidelines.
Responsibilities
+ Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing.
+ Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
+ Enter specimens accurately into the company's computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate areas.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Maintain adherence to the Code of Conduct guidelines.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.
+ Experience in laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.
+ Ability to perform specimen processing and patient care.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable working independently.
+ GED or High School Diploma required.
Work Environment
The position is based in a patient service center in Sun Lakes, AZ, working alongside two or more phlebotomists. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 3 pm. The environment supports career growth, offering a career ladder with opportunities for advancement to Phlebotomy Technician 2 after six months, along with a pay increase. The culture prioritizes promoting from within for leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
