Job Description
We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our team in a doctor's office setting. The role involves drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing. You will be responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, their accurate entry into the computer system, preparation for analytical testing, and distribution to the appropriate analytical area.
ResponsibilitiesDraw patients' blood with precision and care.Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.Accurately enter specimen information into the computer system.Prepare samples for analytical testing.Distribute specimens to the correct analytical area.Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.Adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience Proficient in blood draw and specimen collection.Experience with laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.Competence in specimen processing and patient care.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.Comfortable working independently.Work Environment
This role is based in a doctor's office, working closely with medical assistants. You will operate within a professional healthcare setting, drawing blood from patients under the care of physicians. The position requires you to work from 8 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday. A career ladder is available for growth opportunities after 6 months, including a potential promotion to Phlebotomy Technician 2 with a pay increase.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, Arizona.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
