Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. This role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, proper entry into the computer system, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and distribution of these specimens to the appropriate analytical area. The phlebotomist will also conduct specified analytical testing as assigned, following the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

ResponsibilitiesDraw blood and perform venipuncture on patients.Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.Enter specimen data accurately into the company's computer system.Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the appropriate area.Handle pre- and post-analytical testing aspects.Perform specified analytical tests as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with blood draw and venipuncture.Proficiency in specimen collection and processing.Ability to perform phlebotomy tasks independently.Strong patient care skills.Familiarity with laboratory procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.Comfortable working independently.GED or High School Diploma required.Work Environment

The phlebotomist will work in a doctor's office setting in Mesa, AZ, drawing blood from patients and collaborating closely with medical assistants. The working hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:45 am to 5:45 pm. The company offers a career ladder with growth opportunities, including the potential to become a Phlebotomy Technician 2 after six months, with a 4% pay increase. The organization values internal promotions for leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
