Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist with excellent customer service and computer skills. This position offers the potential to become permanent. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience and handle a low volume of approximately 10 specimens. Responsibilities + Provide exceptional customer service and be the face of the company. + Perform skilled blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. + Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and more. + Accurately and timely enter patient information into data systems. + Process billing information and collect payments when required. + Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. + Maintain logs for patient and specimen information. + Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. + Travel to additional sites when needed. Essential Skills + Phlebotomy and blood draw expertise. + Specimen collection and processing skills. + Strong customer service skills. + Proficient computer skills. + 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with data entry and billing processes. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Work Environment You will be working in a routine lab environment, primarily serving patients from teens to geriatrics. The workload increases in the afternoon, with a daily volume ranging between 25-30 specimens. The role requires good computer skills and the ability to work independently. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8 am to 5 pm, and provides the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent status. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
