Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our high-volume IOP office. This role involves performing blood collections and specimen processing for patients of all ages while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate patient records.
ResponsibilitiesPerform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the system.Process billing information and collect payments as needed.Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.Travel to additional sites when required.Essential SkillsProficiency in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques.Excellent customer service skills.Strong computer and data entry skills.Experience with specimen collection and processing.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood with technology and computers.Ability to handle high-volume environments.Professional demeanor and ability to work with patients of all ages.Work Environment
The role is based in an IOP account with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The position involves working within a large, well-known diagnostic company, requiring professional attire and demeanor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
