Job Title: Phlebotomist - Manalapan
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our patient service center. This role involves drawing blood from patients of all ages, with a focus on efficiency and quality in a high-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws on patients ranging from pediatric to adult, averaging 150-180 collections per day among staff.Process various samples, including bagging, pipetting to transfer tubes, and pouring off urines.Utilize phlebotomy techniques such as venipuncture, primarily using straight needles, with the option to use butterfly needles if necessary.Ensure accurate and efficient sample collection and processing.Essential SkillsPhlebotomy certificationProficiency in blood draws and venipunctureExperience in healthcare and blood collectionAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in phlebotomyAbility to handle a high volume of pediatric patientsFamiliarity with sample processing techniquesStrong organizational and communication skillsWork Environment

The position is located on-site in Manalapan with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. You will be part of a dynamic and busy team, currently consisting of two Patient Service Technicians, where high patient volume and efficiency are key. The role offers opportunities for future growth and mobility within a leading diagnostic lab network.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.94/hr.
