General Summary
Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards a portfolio of donors and prospects who can give $10,000+ annually, and/or who are interested in a planned gift. Develops and implements moves management plans for each assigned donor. Works as part of an integrated philanthropy team to develop best practice philanthropic strategies, builds a culture of philanthropy at WellSpan and develops standard and efficient processes and practices.

Prepares reports and analysis appropriate to job duties, assignments, and responsibilities. Attends Philanthropy/Foundation events, activities, and meetings. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. Estimated Amount: 30% - Local travel throughout the WellSpan footprint to meet with donors and 5% out of state travel.Qualifications

Work Experience:
3 years In a successful Major Giving/Principal Gifts capacity in Healthcare Philanthropy. RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communications (written and verbal) skills. Ability to organize work and to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform basic database functions, including donor information entry and reports. Computer applications skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
