The Philadelphia Wings are seeking a creative and detail-oriented student who continually strives to exceed expectations and has a strong understanding of various aspects in graphic design, and content creation. The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for immersing themselves into the Wings brand, assisting with content creation, and all creative endeavors across the Philadelphia Wings’ digital platforms.Job Description
Responsibilities
Assist in designing graphics for digital and print materials, including social media, web, email, and event signageSupport the development of creative concepts for campaigns, events and initiatives.Maintain brand consistency across all creative projectsCollaborate with marketing, communications and other departments to fulfill design needsAssist with photography, editing and shooting on game day and internal eventsOrganize, label and manage assets on the existing media management systemAssist with department administration functions as necessaryPerform all other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications
Must be a college junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing or closely related field (This internship is PAID, however housing/transportation are the intern’s responsibility)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Strong understanding of visual composition, aesthetics, layout, typography and brandingAvailability to deliver static content pieces with dynamic storytellingMust demonstrate strong creative skills and conceptualization to productionAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while working effectively in a fast-paced environmentHighly detail-oriented, self-motivated communicator who follows direction and functions will in a dynamic environmentPrior experience and understanding of working within brand guidelines and style guidesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with different design formats for all digital platforms; Instagram.
