At BluePearl Pet Hospital, the role Pharmacy Technician is to fill prescriptions for patients, maintain pharmacy inventory, and maintain proper allocation of all pharmaceutical drugs within the hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will: + Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. + Maintain pharmacy inventory + Check pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level + Anticipate needs for medications and supplies + Verify receipts + Remove/return outdated drugs + Maintain and fulfill controlled substance cabinets + Fill prescriptions for hospitalized patients and outpatients + Maintain and fulfill stocking of medical supplies in designated locations from Central Supply + Research and remain up to date with Pharmacy Regulations for Veterinarians + Complete any additional tasks not specified and/or assignments as request by the Department Manager **Why** **BluePearl** **?** + Our passion is pets.
