Pharmacy Technician – Hybrid Opportunity

Location: Irving, TX 75063

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (includes 30-minute lunch)

Hybrid Eligibility: After successful completion of training minimum 30 days, performance-based)

Position Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Irving, TX. This role supports prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory control, and system accuracy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. The position is on-site for training and may transition to a hybrid schedule based on performance.

Requirements

Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License (must not expire within 90 days of start date)Minimum 6 months of pharmacy experienceReliable transportation and ability to be on-site Monday–Friday during trainingAvailability to work 8-hour shifts between 8 AM – 6 PM

Key Responsibilities

Prescription & Order Processing

Enter and process prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy regulationsHandle refill requests, eligibility verification, and third-party claimsAccurately interpret prescriptions and calculate dosage volumesEnsure completeness and accuracy of all orders

System & Program Support

Maintain accuracy of pharmacy software systemsWork within specific program guidelinesSupport cross-functional tasks including prescriber and shipment-related callsAssist with escalations and communication across teams

Professional Attributes

Strong attention to detail and urgencyAbility to multitask and prioritize throughout the dayAdherence to HIPAA and all applicable regulationsCommitment to quality, productivity, and attendance standards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
