Join Henry Ford Health as an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Schedule:  Every Friday 8am-6pm and 2-3 Saturdays per month from 9am-1pm.

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:

Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems. Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department. Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds. Repackage bulk medications.  Receive and store incoming supplies. Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.

.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience -OR- Associate's degree/Technical degree -OR- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
