Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician will vary depending on the location of pharmacy practice. **WORK SHIFT:** Monday through Friday 0630 to 1700 and weekends/holidays 0630 to 1500. And one of the following: + Pharmacy Technician Certification via PTCB or NHA + Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification awarded by the American Association or Medical Assistants (AAMA) + Registered Medical Assistant registration from the American Medical Technologist (AMT) + Registered Medical Assistant registry from the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) + National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) + Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License **Preferred/Optional:** Advanced pharmacy technician certification (CPhT-Adv or CSPT). The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, to assist them in their day to day tasks to prepare and dispense pharmaceutical drugs in accordance with standards, State and Federal laws, and department policies and procedures. The Pharmacy Technician interacts cooperatively and courteously with co-workers and healthcare providers to provide customers and patients excellent customer service with each request. **WORK SHIFT:** 9 hour shifts (6:30 am to 6:30 pm variable), 4 days per week, days will vary.
