Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Plano, TX. This role involves filling prescriptions, packing orders, and using PARTA machines. You will also be responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs, conducting cycle counts, facing shelves, and pulling expired medications.
Responsibilities
+ Fill prescriptions and pack orders using PARTA machines.
+ Stock freezers with gel packs and conduct cycle counts.
+ Face shelves and remove expired medication.
+ Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and move between different areas as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
+ Texas State Board of Pharmacy License.
+ At least 1 year of prior pharmacy tech experience in fulfillment and packaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Parata machines and inventory management is a plus.
+ Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred.
+ Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal guidance.
Work Environment
This position is onsite in Plano, TX, with a work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The work environment resembles a typical pharmacy setting in a newer, climate-controlled building. You will work in collaboration with a partner floor above. This is a Contract position based out of Plano, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
