As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work assist in preparing medications for patients. While you may not interact with patients directly every day, your efforts will make a meaningful difference in their lives and treatments. On this team, you will find an approachable, supportive and open-door policy, with managers prioritizing healthy work-life balance and caregiver wellness.
A caregiver in this position will work primarily between 7:00am and 8:00pm, with 8- or 10-hour shifts. The Twinsburg site is closed on weekends and holidays; weekend work opportunities can be held at the Euclid Ave. facility. This PRN position also supports other sites including our Beachwood, Marymount, Hillcrest and Willoughby facilities.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
Fill medications carts daily.
Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
Repackage bulk medications.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must meet all of the following license and certification combination requirements at the time of application:
Must hold an active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP).
It is required, within 18 months from the date of hire: Must obtain a national certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA) AND Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Six months of hospital experience
