You will make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, their families and your fellow caregivers. **A caregiver in this position works varying 8hr shifts primarily, but at times 10hr shifts according to business needs. Weekend requirements average 3 -4 Saturdays per quarter which can increase based on based on business needs.** **Pharmacy Operating Hours are:** + 8am-8pm Monday - Thursday + 8am-6pm Fridays + 7:45a-4:15pm Saturdays A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the pharmacist in an ambulatory/outpatient setting. + Prepare prescription orders for dispensing to patients. + Maintain inventory for the outpatient pharmacy. + Assist with extemporaneous compounding of prescriptions and bulk compounding of prescriptions and over the counter items. + Operate the point-of-sale cash register system. + Monitor and act on reorder points, restock prescription and non-prescription area and remove expiring products. + Provide multi-pharmacy support in assigned areas as needed. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school diploma or GED. **Must meet all of the following license and certification combination requirements at the time of application:** + Must hold an active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP). **    ** **Please note:** A status as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee with OBOP does not qualify for this role.
