You will play a critical role in preparing, packaging, and distributing prescriptions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and patient safety. This role offers potential for temp-to-hire **Pay Rate** : The anticipated wage for this position is between **$ 24 and $26/hr** . _Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors_ **Schedule:** • Monday–Friday for first 4 weeks (training period) • After 4 weeks, may shift to Sunday–Thursday schedule: ○ Sundays: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM ○ Monday–Thursday: 1:30 PM–10:00 PM _• All schedules are based on business needs and may change_ **Key Responsibilities** • Fill prescription vials with the correct medications, sizes, and strengths • Replenish automated dispensing cells, ensuring product quality and accuracy • Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with inventory audits • Prepare cold chain and specialty prescriptions according to handling protocols • Pack and ship prescriptions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and safety standards • Assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution • Perform cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of automated pharmacy equipment **Qualifications** • High School diploma or equivalent • CA Pharmacy Technician license required • 1+ year of experience in pharmacy, retail, or customer service (externship/program not counted toward experience requirement) • PTCB National Certification preferred • Knowledge of HIPAA laws required; experience with Mini Parata, Kalish, or Baker cassettes a plus **Working Conditions** • Large-scale pharmacy/warehouse environment • Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 10 lbs), stooping, and use of step ladders • Exposure to cold conditions in refrigerated areas (5–7% of the time) • Continuous focus and attention to detail in a repetitive task environment 📌 **_Apply today and take the next step in your pharmacy career with Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences._** Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
