Pharmacy Technician
**Job Summary and Responsibilities** As our **Pharmacy Technician II** at Dignity Health, you will be a key member of our pharmacy team, playing an essential role in providing safe and efficient medication services. You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to assist with the daily operations of the pharmacy. You will collaborate closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the right medications in a timely manner. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to patient safety will be crucial in this role + Fills physician orders, medication kits, medication carts, or stock requisitions accurately + Prepares intravenous admixtures, parenteral nutrition products and other sterile products accurately, utilizing approved sterile technique in accordance with USP standards + Replenishes medications in emergency crash carts accurately + Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately per established schedule utilizing approved technological devices to verify accuracy of processes **Job Requirements** **Minimum** + High school diploma or GED + 6 months compounding of IV medication + Ability to demonstrate competency in the preparation of intravenous and other sterile products + Licensed by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician **Preferred** + Two years acute care pharmacy technician experience **Where You'll Work** At **Dignity Health** living our values means bringing passion into action every day.
