Job Description
The primary role involves filling and preparing prescription orders efficiently while ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy procedures.
ResponsibilitiesFill and prepare prescription orders in a timely manner.Manage and stock the robotic counting machine.Ensure fast mover medications are consistently stocked.Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy according to a designated cleaning schedule.Conduct monthly checks for expired drugs.Adhere to HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.Follow and support the enforcement of all company policies and procedures.Assist with inventory management as assigned.Perform routine, professional pharmacy functions.Undertake additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified.Experience in pharmacy, specifically retail pharmacy.Proficiency in prescription fulfillment.Additional Skills & QualificationsOpportunity for career advancement within the organization.Ability to stand for the entire shift.Work Environment
The position is based in a closed-door pharmacy. The work schedule includes shifts from Monday to Thursday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Other potential shifts include Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, or 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
