Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves processing and filling prescription orders in preparation for Pharmacist verification, as well as packing and shipping completed orders to patients. The technician will maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units, while also replenishing workstation supplies as needed.
ResponsibilitiesProcess and fill prescription orders for Pharmacist verification.Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients.Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions (includes vials, caps, labels).Essential SkillsPharmacy Technician License in the state of Kansas.Must be 18 years old.Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.Additional Skills & QualificationsNational Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.Experience with data entry and navigating Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.Order entry experience is beneficial.Work Environment
The work schedule is from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with no on-call requirements. There is an opportunity for optional overtime with a start time of 6:30 am or 7 am during the week. The position is in a closed-door pharmacy setting with a team of 55 people. Workers enjoy a one-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks each day. The environment is laid back with back ground music, and employees can dress comfortably. The fulfillment area involves standing for most of the day.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
