As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work assist in preparing medications for patients. While you may not interact with patients directly every day, your efforts will make a meaningful difference in their lives and treatments. On this team, you will find an approachable, supportive and open-door policy, with managers prioritizing healthy work-life balance and caregiver wellness.  

 

A caregiver in this position works day/evening/night/weekend, 6:00am—10:00pm. 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Provide distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the Registered Pharmacist.  

Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.  

Fill medications carts daily.  

Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.  

Repackage bulk medications.  

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

High School Diploma or GED.   

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National HealthCareer Association (NHA)  

Registration through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee 

 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician Training Program  

Six months of hospital experience
