We're hiring a Pharmacy Procurement Technician to support outpatient oncology at the Cancer Center at Forsyth Medical Center (Winston-Salem)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift

+ Manage daily processing & filing of purchase orders and invoices
+ Update product and cost info in our Pharmacy charging system
+ Operate and maintain unit dose packaging machines
+ Assist with extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervision
+ Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide optimal patient care
Acute care experience as well as knowledge of purchasing,
budgeting and inventory management highly preferred

Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience: Two years relevant experience, required.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ Current registry with applicable State Board(s) of Pharmacy, required.
+ PTCB or NHA Certification within 60 days of hire, required.
+ 340B University Education Program completion (or within 90 days of hire), required.
+ Additional Skills Required:
+ State Registration and/or evidence of renewal is required for both Pharmacists and Technicians fifteen days prior to expiration and Technicians are required to be either certified through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), National Healthcareer Association (NHA) .
+ Considerable knowledge and application of basic math skills, including ratio and proportion relationships; strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Basic technology skills. Other duties as outline in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
+ Additional Skills Preferred: Auditing skills, accounting skills, microsoft office skills.
