The Pharmacy Manager - Oncology Infusion is based at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center on Main Campus and supports a high-acuity ambulatory infusion pharmacy delivering complex oncology and hematology therapies. This role provides leadership and oversight for daily operations, staffing, and safe preparation and dispensing of infusion medications while collaborating closely with infusion pharmacists and technicians, nursing leadership, oncologists, operational leaders, and pharmacy leadership. The manager ensures efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, medication safety, and an exceptional patient experience while supporting quality improvement initiatives, caregiver engagement, and strategic oncology pharmacy services.
**A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Identify and meet patient needs utilizing continuous process improvement techniques.
+ Identify and propose practical solutions to technical, professional, personnel or procedural problems affecting daily workflow.
+ Ensure the department is adequately staffed with properly trained personnel.
+ Establish work assignments and schedules.
+ Participate in the development of operational and clinical program activities.
+ Promote and develop the clinical activities of pharmacy caregivers through counseling, training and teaching.
+ Train and instruct caregivers as to their duties.
+ Coordinate orientation and training of new caregivers in job functions and responsibilities.
+ Monitor financials and other pertinent statistics.
+ Assist with evaluations of financial performance.
+ Maintain records of narcotics, poisons, and habit-forming drugs received in accordance with state and federal laws.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible within 90 days of hire
+ Completion of a health-system Pharmacy Administration or Leadership (HSPAL) PGY2 Residency OR four years of relevant pharmacy experience, including one year of leadership experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Pharmacy Degree with current state licensure
+ MS, MBS, PharmD and/or residency
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Physical demands include periods of standing and walking.
+ Dexterity sufficient to perform computer functions and communication via telephone.
+ May be required to lift and transport up to ten pounds.
+ Requires normal or corrected vision.
**Personal Protective Equipment:**
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
**Pay Range**
Minimum Annual Salary: $118,960.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $190,360.00

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
