This role offers a unique opportunity to develop clinical and professional skills while contributing directly to patient care. Interns will be responsible for conducting accurate and thorough medication histories either in-person or remotely via Caregility. **Key Responsibilities:** · Accurately obtain and document comprehensive medication histories from patients · Utilize various technologies, including Caregility, electronic health records (EHR), and communication tools (e.g., Teams) · Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare providers to ensure medication safety and accuracy · Counsel patients on medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist · Participate in educational activities and hands-on experiences aimed at developing clinical acumen · Receive mentorship from experienced pharmacists committed to intern growth · (Optional) Assist with dispensing-related tasks, such as medication preparation, inventory management, or order entry, depending on site needs and the intern’s interest.
