GENERAL SUMMARY: Performs the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, maintains proper narcotic documentation and ensures proper distribution of narcotic medications.| Under direct supervision, ensures appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication.| Dispenses medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas. May compound medications. | Assists pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles. Provides medication information and education to medical staff and patients. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. - -OR- Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline. 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: - Registered Pharmacy Intern - Pharmacist-Ed Ltd-5 preferred
