Under the direction of a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Interns receive practical training toward becoming a competent Pharmacist to ensure the appropriate selection, dosing, administration and dispensing of medication orders. **A caregiver in this position works rotating shifts from 6:00AM-10:00pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Refill, load, and maintain the inventory of automated medications. Admixes intravenous medications. + Purchase and receive medications. Unit doses medications. + Charge and credit medications when necessary. + Perform unit inspections. + Comply with daily task requirements as outlined by the shift. + Assist the pharmacists with assigned clinical review of patient's medical records. + Other duties as assigned.
