The Pharmacy District Manager is responsible for the implementation and follow-through of pharmacy initiatives developed by the pharmacy team, as well as the overall operational integrity of the pharmacies in those markets. Market dynamics require relocation or residence in the market within a reasonable amount of time. These individuals work with the pharmacy team and report to the Business Director of Pharmacy.
Main responsibilities:
Maintain integrity of pharmacy operations within the legal framework provided by the State Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Public Safety and other governmental agencies in conjunction with the policy and procedure guidelines set forth by The United Family Ensure completion and compliance of goals, tasks, standards, and other job-related criteria assigned to the pharmacy region Maintain open communication with pharmacy staff to ensure continued growth, development, education and compliance with ever evolving pharmacy operations Oversee staffing, scheduling and recruitment of pharmacy personnel within the region Ensure the communication and integration of pharmacy service into total store Performs other duties as requested or required by supervisorWe are looking for candidates who possess the following:
BS in Pharmacy and/or PharmD Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy Active and in good standing pharmacist license issued by the Board of Pharmacy of the state(s) in which you are practicing Preceptor by the State Board of Pharmacy Minimum of three years pharmacy retail managerial experience or equivalent Excellent problem solving and management skills Basic accounting and computer skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, some holidays, and overnight travel as necessary Must reside in one of the regions supervised Ability to function as a team member and get along with others Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing and walking for 8-12 hour period Immunization certification from accredited organization within first 90 days Active CPR Certification within first 90 daysWe also provide a variety of benefits including:
