The Accountable Care Organization Team is seeking a Pharmacy (Data Analytics) Intern to support initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes through advanced data-driven strategies. This role offers hands-on experience in leveraging analytics and emerging technologies (such as AI and predictive analytics) to enhance medication management, monitor clinical metrics, and contribute to value-based care models. The intern will collaborate with clinical teams, participate in patient-facing projects, and gain exposure to innovative healthcare solutions that prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities 

Assist in analyzing pharmacy-related data to identify trends and opportunities for improving patient outcomes.  Support projects involving AI-driven tools and vendor solutions for clinical outcome optimization (e.g., blood pressure, A1C management).  Contribute to medication management and pharmacogenomics initiatives.  Participate in patient outreach efforts to promote adherence and medication safety in ambulatory and transition of care settings.  Prepare reports and dashboards using Excel and other analytics tools to inform decision-making.  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and attend regular team meetings.  Ensure compliance with patient safety standards and maintain professionalism in all interactions. Support research related to health economics and outcomes and, health services, and real-world evidence within a value-based care model.
