Job Description
The Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies, adhering to regulations and company policies. This role involves processing pharmacy orders, managing inventory, and ensuring the proper storage of drugs and supplies.
ResponsibilitiesProcess pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included.Perform drug and supply ordering and manage inventory.Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including refrigeration of perishable products.Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as needed.Essential SkillsMust be at least 18 years old.High school diploma or GED.Pharmacy Technician Certification or Registration preferred, but not required.Pharmacy experience or packing medication experience required.Ability to lift 35lbs throughout the day.Ability to be on feet all day.Attention to detail with no room for error.Additional Skills & QualificationsPositive attitude and self-motivated.Desire to work in the pharmaceutical industry.Opportunity to be cross-trained as a pharmacy technician, with the possibility of obtaining National certification for permanent positions.Work Environment
This role is located in a closed-door pharmacy fulfillment site, working closely with pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm, with optional overtime available on weekends. Rapid hire interviews are conducted by hiring consultants on behalf of hiring managers.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
