Pharmacology Associate
Job Title: Pharmacology Associate Location: Cambridge, MA Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Type: Contract Overview The Pharmacology Associate supports drug discovery and development programs through laboratory research and data analysis. This role conducts in vivo studies, evaluates pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to advance preclinical and clinical research initiatives. Responsibilities + Conduct in vivo experiments to evaluate drug activity, efficacy, and safety. + Collect, analyze, and interpret pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) data. + Prepare reagents, maintain laboratory equipment, and manage sample inventory. + Assist in the development and execution of study protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Collaborate with research teams to support preclinical and clinical study objectives. + Present study findings in team meetings and contribute to scientific documentation or publications. + Maintain accurate experimental records in compliance with laboratory standards. Qualifications Required: + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. + 0–2 years of experience in a research or pharmaceutical laboratory setting. + Hands-on experience with in vivo laboratory techniques. + Proficiency with data analysis tools such as GraphPad Prism, Excel, or R. + Ability to follow complex experimental protocols and maintain detailed documentation. Preferred: + Experience with animal handling and dosing techniques.
