This position is responsible for assisting in:
The management and coordination of operational processes of the Central Pharmacy Services team performing non-production/cognitive services and to ensure optimal service to client pharmacies and patients.The incumbent will provide support in monitoring the performance and development of the team, support quality management, and assist in identifying process improvements to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.Nature and Scope
The Pharmacist Team Lead, Central Pharmacy Services must have effective team leadership skills, an acute customer service focus, and effective problem-solving abilities in order to deliver on key business objectives. Active interaction with other leadership team members is a key responsibility to ensure overall business objectives are achieved.
What you will do:
Oversee the workflow processes to effectively prioritize and manage efficiencies within the team.Responsible for supporting management with delivering on business objectives defined for the team members such as productivity plans and service level metrics.Responsible for supporting management of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to ensure success with overall objectives. Work with Colleagues to cover off periods of absence, high workload, or any other instance as required to ensure that there are no gaps in frontline duties or team supervision.Responsible for supporting the continuous quality improvement for team members.Responsible for supporting the implementation of new programs as required.Responsible for supporting the identification of program improvement opportunities to deliver value to stores and patients.Responsible for support the training of all new staff and maximizing the effectiveness of each individual through further training opportunities as required.Will be required to work as part of the Operations schedule to ensure adequate support for team members.Responsible for supporting front line operations during peak volume periods, when there are low resources, or when determined by the needs of the business.What you will need:
Insured and currently licensed with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A) in good standingMinimum of 5 years of experience as licensed, practicing pharmacist, preferredQualified to counsel patients in English (bilingualism is an asset)Exceptional verbal skills and written communication skillsStrong quality orientation, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and adhere to compliance/audit requirements.Identifies and proposes solutions that benefit all parties involved in a situationMaintain high ethical standards.Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.Flexibility to work rotating shifts.Shoppers Drug Mart store experience and HealthWATCH experience an assetGood interpersonal skills, demonstrated organizational ability and leadership qualities.Must be able to work independently as well as a team player.Strong management, problem solving, and analytical skills.Must have the ability to prioritize and schedule daily activities while working under tight time constraints.Why work at Shoppers Drug Mart?
