**Duration: 06 months contract** **Responsibilities:** + This individual must have excellent interpersonal skills. Will be responsible for: Reviewing and completing criteria based prior authorizations as per policy and procedure. + Review and process prior authorization requests in accordance with clinical guidelines, policy, and procedures. + Apply clinical judgment in reviewing complex cases requiring prior authorization. + Communicate effectively with providers, prescribers, and patients regarding authorization decisions. + Document all authorization activity accurately in system tools. + Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. + Collaborate with other pharmacists, clinical teams, and call center representatives as needed. + Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times. **Experience/Requirement** + Previous pharmacy experience in PBM or Prior Authorization required. + Appropriate state license required. Basic computer skills required. Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and detail orientation important for this position. **Education:** + Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D. with at least two years' experience as a pharmacist is required.
