The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients.

They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures, they exercise considerable independent decision making.

Qualifications:

Required:

Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmDRegistration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure requiredHospital pharmacy experience desirableFamiliarity with all phases of hospital pharmacyWorking knowledge of health care mattersUnderstanding of role of pharmacy department within the hospital, its interrelationships with other departments and functionsSuccessful completion of all orientations

Scheduling Requirements

Ful-Time schedule and hours based on business needs of department.
